    Snowshoe07#2

    DDL FRANKLIN FALLS SNOW SHOW

Play hooky with your true love
    Wed Feb 14, 8am-3:30pm

Cost for snowshoe rentals - $24
Complimentary continental breakfast and healthy treats for the pups will be served.

We have hot cocoa for those that make it to the top and, of course, bum rubs for the four legged troopers.

This is a moderate and safe trail and we recommended jackets and boots for the pups. Ice can get in your dog's pads and DDL carries one brand that actually stays on your dog's feet - RUFF WEAR. They are practical, cozy and we know your pup will love you for them. Not to mention, they look very cool on the mountain!

Meet DDL's Pet Psychic - Faye

Pet Psychic Faye Pietrokowsky is coming to DDL
Thursday, Feb 15, from 4pm-8pm at our Elliott location

Reservations are available for 15-minute sessions for $25 and 30 minute sessions for $40

All proceeds go to ARF, Animal Relief Foundation. Find out what your pooch is really trying to tell you. Ask questions about the past and future and get in touch with your inner dog.

"Faye's gift enables her to bond with the animals quickly and make them, as well as their owners, feel at ease. She has a way of helping you understand your animals, and you leave with a desire to really communicate with them. Even if you are already an animal lover when you see Faye, she has a way of opening your senses and making you feel even more loved by your pet." - Renee Spears, Rose City Mortgage

Faye is an author and consultant on applying the skills of intuition. Currently Faye is writing a book about animals.

    DDL Goes to the Hill!
    Capitol Hill DDL

Thanks to our loyal customers, DDL is very excited to announce that we are opening a third location on Denny and Olive Way in Capitol Hill; estimated date of opening is April 3rd.

This new location will offer daycare, grooming, and training, as well as limited overnight stays. We are also offering an Interactive Training Class designed to teach your pup the skills to safely walk down the streets of Capitol Hill with you.

Tails will be wagging because this location will include fun and unique amenities to serve you and your pooch in the best way possible:

    1. Walk up coffee bar and lounge for you and your pup
    2. Covered doggie drop
    3. After hours pick-up on weekends
    4. Capitol Hill pick-up and drop-off
Let us know which amenity is your favorite!

    Adventures in Doggie Daycare

Don't miss WE's (Women's Entertainment) April premier of the great new series about Seattle's coolest dogs, clients and employees here at the DDL.
Watch behind the scenes at DDL including plenty of trials, tribulations and laughs. Thanks Seattle and Screaming Flea Productions for making the filming of this event a memorable one!

    Health Tip from DDL

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, DDL would like to remind you to keep sweets in food storage containers or in closed drawers so they can’t be eaten by your pooch.

Cocoa can be extremely toxic to your dog, from the smallest chocolate chips to those irresistible chocolate donuts.
The higher the cocoa concentration, the darker the chocolate, the more dangerous.
If your dog ingests chocolate, please consult with your Vet first and we recommend a ½ tsp of hydrogen peroxide for dogs under 20 lbs., and a full tsp. for dogs over 21 lbs to induce vomiting.
Macadamia nuts can also be toxic and can cause temporary paralysis - or worse - in your dog.

From all of us at DDL, we wish you a healthy and happy Valentine's Day!

    Animal Relief Foundation - ARF

    Please Donate to ARF

DDL will be caring for a few Katrina rescue puppies. The Louisiana shelters are full and dogs are being euthanized. Please help by donating money, food, blankets and crates.

You can also help by spreading the word that we have dogs that need loving arms to take them in for adoption.

From our hearts we thank you for your support and your generous donations. Tax deductible donations can be made to ARF at any DDL location.
