Trainer Bios
The Downtown Dog Lounge™ offers a range of training classes to facilitate better communication between pooch and master.
Cora Wittekind
For over three years Cora Wittekind has been the Downtown Dog Lounge's™ obedience training manager. She has been training dogs for over 5 years, but has a lifetime of experience with animals. Growing up in a rural area allowed her family to be involved with wildlife rehabilitation, which included raccoons, squirrles and the occasional deer. Dogs have always been her main interest though. With her valuable experience from the Academy of Canine Behavior, Cora specializes in behavior modification (including aggression and anxiety), but also enjoys teaching basic through advanced obedience. She enjoys helping owners understand how leadership and mutual respect is needed in order for dogs and humans to happily co-exist.

She uses positive methods and behavior modification in her work with dogs. Amy also enjoys French and has a bachelor degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Amy gets the most enjoyment from helping people and dogs develop a trusting relationship and believes that clear communication between owner and dog is essential.
Brenda Bryan
When Brenda Bryan began practicing yoga in the late 90's, she was very inflexible. After finally becoming flexible enough to touch her toes, she began to explore other healing modalities such as massage therapy, became a licensed massage therapist, and ran a successful massage therapy business. Later she began the 8 LimbsYoga teacher training program in Seattle, Washington. While honing her yoga teaching skills, Brenda studied animal massage which led her to combine many things she loves and develop her Yoga With Your Dog classes.
Brenda's Yoga With Your Dog classes are partner classes that integrates classic Hatha Yoga poses with gentle stretching and massage for your canine companion.
